Aproaching the Mt Whitney Trail Junction from the summit. The John Muir Trail going down to right continues on down to Guitar Lak. The trail continuing on around the cliff leads to Trail Crest, probably less than another quarter mile, from there transitioning from the West to East side of the mountain and going down the 96 switchbacks to Trail Camp...Looking W out over Hitchcock lakes, Guitar Lake, and Mt Hitchcock.
